United Airlines to allow unvaccinated employees to return to jobs

 


united airlines will now allow un vaccinated employees to return to their jobs starting march 28th it is also asked a federal appeals court to dismiss a legal challenge to Kobe 19 mandate as also Chicago-based u.s carrier said in a memo about 2200 employees had received overall vaccine-linked reasonable accommodations after it had become first major u.s airline to mandate employee vaccines united told the federal appeals court that new policy was due to substantial changes in scope and severity of pandemic as well as guidance of public health authorities united said the change applies to all employees who were placed on temporary unpaid leave as well as those temporarily placed in other jobs its CEO Scott Kirby in December said that of companies 67000 employees about 200 did not comply with its mandate and were fired officials said airline has no plans to rehire those employees and a u.s appeals court last month ordered a new review of lower court decision not to block united from enforcing employer vaccine mandate.
