Russia is looking to turn the heat back on the west as western sanctions take hold Russia has threatened foreign companies withdrawing from the country with arrests and seizures now according to the wall street journal Russian prosecutors have issued threats to several foreign companies via calls letters and even in-person visits companies include giants like coca-cola McDonald's IBM yam brands which is the pound company of KFC and pizza hut all these companies have announced shutting down operations in Russia following its invasion of Ukraine reports also say that such warnings have prompted at least one company to limit communications between its Russian business and the rest of the company out of fear that their internal communication may be intercepted Moscow has faced unprecedented sanctions imposed by western governments on its banks businesses and oligarchs as a result of which the Russian currency  has seen a large drop in value against the dollar leaving Russian authorities scrambling to prevent money from leaving the borders in order to stop the ruble's value from dropping Further.
